Help to improve care for people with alcohol problems in South London - workshop on 21 March 2017

You are invited to an afternoon of presentation snd discussion on how services are currently provided for alcohol and addictions, and to look at ways in which these could be further improved.

In particular, they will discuss a new 'assertive outreach' approach that researchers and clinicians have devloped for people who repeatedly attend hospital that have underlying alcohol problems, as well as other complex needs. This approach involved health professionals supporting patients and service users at home and in their neighbourhood rather than asking them to come to a clinic, hospital or treatment centre.

It is being held on Tuesday 21 March from 1:30pm until 4:30pm (with a sandwich lunch at 12:30pm). It is taking place at Ortus learning and events centre, Pilowsky Rooms 2 and 3, 96 grove Lane, London SE5 8SN.
