Basic Navigation

To move through the e-Learning sequentially, click on the Next and Previous buttons in the top right hand side of the screen.

The Resources button will provide you with some downloadable files, for example pdf versions of the AUDIT form.

On the left hand side of the screen is a navigational menu. This can be used to jump forwards or backwards within the e-Learning. When you click on a menu heading, this will expand to show the pages inside. You can then click on the specific page that you want to view.

Using Multimedia

There are a number of video sequences in the e-Learning. Please use these icons to control the playback of the sequence.

Start the playback of the video.

Play in full screen mode. Press ESC to exit from full screen mode.

Toggle subtitling on / off.

Adjust the volume of the playback.

Accessibility

The e-Learning uses the browser's accessibility options for controlling the appearance of the on-screen text.

In Internet Explorer:

To zoom into a page:
Press CTRL+

To zoom out of a page:
Press CTRL-

To change the base size of the text:
Tools / Internet Options / Accessibility
Check "Ignore font sizes specified on webpages"
View / Text Size / Larger

To specify a high contrast colour scheme:
Tools / Internet Options / Accessibility
Check "Format documents using my style sheet"
Select your normal colour scheme

Navigation using the access keys

Access keys let you navigate around e-Learning for Healthcare sessions without using your mouse.

Table of Access Keys Used

Alt 2, then press Enter - skip to main content of current page

Alt 3, then press Enter - go to previous page in current session

Alt 4, then press Enter - go to next page in current session
