Identification and Brief Advice Training
We offer a free, self-paced alcohol pharmacy e-learning course where you can learn the facts about alcohol, units and delivering IBA. You can also print a record of achievement.

Access our latest generic identification and brief advice tools including the AUDIT identification tool and other useful training guidance and resources. Please note that most of these resources were devised for general Primary Care settings but may be helpful for pharmacy.
Data
To help with the evaluation and collation of data, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society is developing a web-based data collection tool to collate individual pharmacy AUDIT results and other useful information. From this various reports will be produced and made available to the PCT's and SHA's.

North West IBA Pharmacy Pilot
The North West Region is currently piloting an, 'Alcohol Screening & Brief Intervention Service in Community Pharmacies' and has produced a commissioning pack for partners. The reports and resources will be available here later in 2010.
