Translations
The leaflets and tools below have been translated and produced for local use.
In the case of AUDIT translations WHO guidance should be followed. This states that, "With regard to translation into other languages, it should be noted that the AUDIT questions have been translated into Spanish, Slavic, Norwegian, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Swahili, and several other languages. These translations are vailable by writing to the Department of Mental Health and Substance Dependence, World Health Organization, 1211 Geneva 27, Switzerland. Before attempting to translate AUDIT into other languages, interested individuals should consult with WHO Headquarters about the procedures to be followed.." [WHO 2001]

Alcohol Withdrawal and Detoxification
The following leaflets were produced by the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust Addictions Services to provide staff with patient information guidance for withdrawal and detox.
