Quality Innovation Productivity and Prevention (QIPP)

In 2010 Alcohol was included as a 'hot topic' within the QIPP resource packs produced by the region to support local organisations in developing their understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by QIPP. The pack includes an overview of the evidence, information on the top ten conditions for alcohol related admissions, intake levels across the regions, alcohol costs across the region and performance against a set of key indicators.

Better for Less

We also worked with NHS Yorkshire and the Humber to produce an alcohol 'Better for Less' pack which identifies an integrated care pathway and describes four key evidence-based interventions that can impact on reducing alcohol related harm and admissions.
