Alcohol Harm Reduction in the East Midlands
The Regional Government Office Alcohol Harm Reduction Programme Board is a cross government group (chaired by the Department of Health and the Home Office) which will:
- Have an oversight of delivery against PSA 25/NI39
- Influence and mediate policy to reflect local need
- Challenge and support the areas across the East Midlands which are facing the greatest challenges surrounding harm reduction
The Regional Alcohol Harm Reduction Coordinators Group comprises of the strategic leads on alcohol harm reduction from the nine unitary and two-tier areas across the regions. The coordinators group will also work together on areas where regional collaboration will have a greater impact.
The East Midlands Alcohol Harm Reduction Network is a large network of people from a wide range of organisations around the region who have an interest in alcohol harm reduction.
