North West Public Health Observatory (NWPHO) Data
The NWPHO has developed the Local Alcohol Profiles for England (LAPE) to support the NHS and Local Authorities in identifying local harms in order to prioritise local actions to tackle alcohol misuse. This data can provide a baseline for Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) in relation to alcohol.

The National Alcohol Treatment Monitoring System (NATMS)
NATMS collects data from structured service providers in England on the number of patients receiving specialist alcohol treatment (MoCAM tiers 3 and 4) in England.

Screening and Intervention Programme for Sensible Drinking research (SIPS)
SIPS was a 3 year research programme led by the Institute of Psychiatry, University of London and Newcastle University, to provide additional evidence, support and improve implementation of alcohol identification and the delivery of brief advice (IBA).
